Welcome Families,
Our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program is growing and blooming and we are looking forward to the 2024 - 2025 year. We have rearranged our atrium with your children's needs in mind and are praying for a fruitful and joyful year together. As we progress through the year, you will receive information about our work together so that you can continue to share and discuss the material at home. We are here to support you as your child's first teacher, so please don't hesitate to ask if you need something.
Scripture and liturgy are key partners in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Your child will receive assignments that can complete at Mass. The Mass is an important part of participation in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. The children need to attend Mass faithfully, not only to offer God our love, praise and thanksgiving, but to help the children understand all that will be presented in the atrium. We all need the graces and blessings we receive by attending Mass faithfully and receiving Jesus in the Eucharist. The children need it to grow in faith and develop a relationship with our heavenly Father.
Our Atria are filled with beautiful, smiling children. Thank you to those of you who prayed our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Novena with us. Joining together in prayer is the best way to begin our year together. We are so blessed that so many new families have joined us. Please continue to pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we move through the atrium year.
God provides so much beauty and goodness in our world! The beauty of fall with its color and abundant harvest is on the way, with its cooler mornings and warm sunny days. God provides it all.
God bless you and your families!
Ms. Karen
