Welcome Families,
Our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program is growing and blooming and we are looking forward to the 2025 - 2026 year. We will be rearranging our atriums with your children's needs in mind and are praying for a fruitful and joyful year together. As we progress through the year, you will receive information about our work together so that you can continue to share and discuss the material at home. We are here to support you as your child's first teacher, so please don't hesitate to ask if you need something.
Scripture and liturgy are key partners in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. The Mass is a very important part of participation in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. The children need to attend Mass faithfully, to offer God their love, praise and thanksgiving, but also to help them understand all that is presented in the atrium. We all need the graces and blessings we receive by attending Mass faithfully and receiving Jesus in the Eucharist. Young children need it to grow in faith and develop a relationship with our heavenly Father.
We anticipate our Atria will once again be filled with beautiful, smiling children. We are blessed that so many new families are interested in joining us, as well as the siblings of our current students. Our programs now include new atriums especially for homeschool families and a new evening atrium for our Level II students.
If you are new to CGS and interested in joining us in the fall, please be sure to join our waiting list.
Families on the interest list will be contacted if there are available openings in the program.
Please continue to pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we move into a new atrium year. We are all looking forward to God's gifts this spring as the warmer weather, beautiful colors, flowers, trees, and creatures return to us. Our loving God is always providing and caring for us all.
God bless you and your families!
Ms. Karen
